The Texas Tomahawks Spring season is the chance for the boys to refine their skills, to come together as a team, and to learn life lessons through athletic competition.

Spring 2019 activities include:

  • 2 or 3 weekly practices depending on age group
  • 9-10 weekend games with schedule varying by age group

Once your son is rostered on a team, your coach will reach out with specific information. The season lasts around nine weeks and the kids usually play around 10 games against teams from all over the city. Spring Schedule Details

01/12/19 - Wall Ball at Grisham Middle School
  • Who: Current Tomahawks players and new prospective players
  • When: 1pm-3pm, 1/12/19 (Please do NOT be late)
  • Where: Grisham Middle School wall (please drop players off on Deerbrook Trail, not in parking lot to avoid locked fences)
  • Bring: Gloves, stick, water, and a positive attitude!
  • Why: Shake the rust off, development and build excitement for the upcoming 2019 season!
 
01/19/19 - Team Evaluations at Town and Country
  • Who: Current Tomahawks players and new prospective players
  • When: 1pm-4pm, 1/19/19 at Town and Country Field 2 (Please do NOT be late)
  • Bring: Full Gear and a reversible pennie, stick, water, and a positive attitude!
  • Why: The main purpose is for the coaches to evaluate the skill level of our teams for placement in the league. There are three levels of competition and we want to make sure we provide the boys with a challenging and rewarding spring program. Every boy will have a team from beginners to our most advanced players.
02/05/19 - First week of practice
  • Who: Current Tomahawks players and new prospective players
  • When: Practices will be held every Tuesday and Thursday between 5:30 and 8:30 pm. Each team's practice will be 1:30 long and will either be from 5:30 to 7:00 or 7:00 to 8:30. Younger teams will practice in the early time slot and older teams will practice in the later time slot.
  • Bring: Full Gear and a reversible pennie, stick, water, and a positive attitude!
